Cala Luna is located between the territories of baunei and Dorgali. It’s one of the most coveted pearls of the Gulf of Orosei. The wild-looking beach with its unspoilt beauty makes it one of Sardinia’s iconic destinations. Its celebrity is due to the steep rocky walls and natural caves that rise on its golden sands, which is nothing more than the end of a stream called the Moon’s codula (now become canyon because swallowed from the underground) which originated on the slopes of Mount oseli (984 m asl) in the municipality of urzulei, and which developed for kilometers to flow into the sea.
